Kuraisha Anis – MBACP
Person-Centred and Attachment-Informed Online Therapist
Counselling for Adults and Young People Across the UK
I’m Kuraisha, a warm, relational person-centred and attachment-informed therapist, offering online counselling across the UK for adults and young people. I provide a calm, compassionate therapeutic space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported — just as you are.
My work is grounded in person-centred therapy and attachment-based theory, meaning our sessions focus on safety, trust, and the quality of our therapeutic relationship. I gently support you to explore your inner world at a pace that feels right for you, helping your nervous system to settle so that deeper understanding and meaningful change can unfold.
Areas I Support With
I have experience supporting clients across a range of settings, including schools, GP practices, counselling agencies, charities, and private practice. I work with individuals who may be experiencing:
-
Anxiety and chronic worry
-
Low mood and depression
-
Relationship difficulties and attachment concerns
-
Overwhelm, stress, and emotional burnout
-
Trauma and the impact of early life experiences
-
Addictions and coping behaviours
-
Low self-esteem and identity struggles
Whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally drained, disconnected from yourself or others, or unsure where to begin, therapy can offer a space to gently untangle what feels heavy and confusing.
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is steady, nurturing, and compassionate. I aim to offer a consistent and reflective space where you can lay down your armour, explore difficult emotions safely, and reconnect with your sense of self. Together, we pay attention not only to your thoughts and feelings, but also to how your experiences live in your body and relationships.
I believe healing happens in relationship — through being met with empathy, acceptance, and genuine care.
A Culturally Sensitive and Inclusive Space
As a mother of five and someone from a multi-ethnic background who has lived across different countries, continents, and cultures, I understand how complex journeys of belonging, identity, transition, and responsibility can be. These lived experiences inform my work and allow me to offer a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and respectful space for people from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
Your story is unique.
Your experiences matter.
And you don’t have to explore them on your own.
If you’re looking for online therapy with a person-centred, attachment-informed counsellor, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
Just say the word 😊
