Therapist Retreat
Feel More Grounded, Skilled and Supported in Your Work
A two day restorative retreat with meaningful CPD to help you reconnect, recharge and return to practice with greater clarity, confidence and connection.
Why this retreat?
Therapeutic work asks so much of us, our presence, our steadiness, our judgement, our emotional availability, and our capacity to keep showing up with care.
This retreat is designed to help you step back, breathe out, reconnect with yourself, and return to your work feeling more grounded, more skilled and more supported.
Over two carefully held days, you’ll experience a restorative blend of meaningful CPD, experiential learning, somatic practice, reflective space and genuine connection with peers who understand the demands of this profession. It is a chance to refill your own cup -professionally and personally – so that what you gain does not just inspire you for a weekend, but stays with you when you return to the therapy room.
By the end of the retreat, our intention is that you leave feeling:
- steadier, more emotionally regulated and better able to hold the work
- more resourced, skilled and confident in your clinical practice
- clearer in your boundaries and what supports good therapeutic work
- less isolated, more connected and more supported as a practitioner

Who this Retreat is for
You do not need prior attachment training to benefit from this retreat. The learning is designed to be accessible, professionally relevant, and supportive for therapists at different stages of their journey.
Guest Speaker:
Linda Cundy
We are delighted to welcome Linda Cundy, widely recognised for her contribution to attachment-informed psychotherapy.
Linda is a respected and influential voice in attachment-based clinical practice, known for supporting practitioners to deepen their understanding of internal working models, relational trauma, and the therapeutic relationship as a secure base.
Her presence brings depth, wisdom and rich clinical reflection to the retreat. Whether attachment theory is already part of your work or something you are only just beginning to explore, you will find the retreat accessible, supportive and professionally enriching.

Day 1
Arrive, settle in, and step into a day designed to restore and inspire. Begin with tea and coffee from 9:00am in beautiful surroundings before we start at 10:00am.
You’ll set your intentions, enjoy a mix of reflective and practical workshops, and connect with other therapists in a warm, supportive environment. Everything is optional, so you can fully join in or take time to rest, reflect, and enjoy the gardens at your own pace.
We’ll round off the day with an informal dinner and relaxed networking.
- Conjecture – Exploring assumptions, interpretations, and internal narratives workshop
- Grow Your Practice – Quick marketing wins workshop
- Linda Cundy – Reflecting on the therapist’s own attachment workshop
Day 2
Day 2 is where the retreat settles in. Through experiential learning, restorative practice and thoughtful integration, you’ll have space to reflect more deeply, restore your nervous system, and begin weaving what you have gained back into your work and everyday life.
Start the day slowly with a relaxed breakfast and fresh coffee, taking time to enjoy the surroundings and connect with others before we begin at 9:30am.
Every workshop is optional, giving you the freedom to shape the day in the way that feels most supportive. Join every session or step out to rest, reflect, and enjoy the peaceful gardens and outdoor spaces.
- Working with the Wounded Child – An attachment-informed experiential workshop
- The Secure Base – Creating safety in the therapeutic relationship workshop
- Sound Bathing – A deeply restorative relation experience
- From Retreat to Reality – integrating the experience into everyday practice workshop

Meaningful CPD in a restorative setting
Across the two days, the retreat offers a blend of experiential CPD, reflection, rest, and professional connection.
Rather than overwhelming you with more theory, more slides, or more information to somehow cram into an already full nervous system, this retreat creates space for learning that can actually land.
Stepping away from the therapy chair can help you think more clearly about:
You are free to shape the retreat around your own needs, choosing the balance of learning, reflection and rest that feels most supportive.
