Why Choose a Couples Retreat?

Life can leave relationships feeling stretched — by work, family, health, or unresolved hurts. A retreat offers more than a quick therapy session. It’s a safe, focused space away from daily pressures where you and your partner can:

  • Rebuild communication and trust
  • Deepen intimacy and emotional closeness
  • Explore relationship patterns with guidance
  • Learn practical skills for lasting connection
  • Create a renewed vision for your future together

Our Approach: Attachment-Informed, Heart-Led

At Optima Health, we believe relationships flourish when partners feel safe, understood, and truly seen. Our retreats draw on attachment-based couples therapy, helping you understand the deeper dynamics of your bond. Through a mix of therapeutic sessions, reflective exercises, and time to reconnect, you’ll discover new ways to feel secure with one another.

This retreat is for couples who want to:
– Repair after conflict, distance, or infidelity
– Strengthen an already good relationship

FAQs

No. You’ll learn as a group, but sharing is optional. There’s also dedicated private couple time.
That’s okay. This retreat can help you gain clarity and have honest, supported conversations.
Absolutely. All couples are warmly welcome.
The answer is no – it’s different.
Here’s how it works:
•The retreat is therapeutic, but it’s not the same as ongoing couples therapy.
•You’ll learn powerful, evidence-based tools from attachment and emotionally focused therapy – but in a relaxed, workshop-style setting.
•There’s no pressure to “bare your soul” or share anything you don’t want to.
•You can go at your own pace, dipping into exercises as you feel comfortable.
•You’ll work alongside your partner in private moments, guided gently by Jo (that’s me!) with plenty of space to pause, breathe, and reflect.
