Catherine Wallage

Sometimes life can leave you feeling confused, exhausted or unsure of where to turn. If you’re longing for change, wanting to feel more confident, or hoping to be less fearful of conflict, I’m here to listen with empathy and kindness.

My integrated approach combines Person-Centred Therapy with Attachment-Based Psychotherapy. I offer a secure, non-judgemental space where we can explore how early childhood attachment, trauma and relational experiences may be shaping your sense of self and your present-day relationships. With compassion and curiosity, we work together to understand these patterns and move towards a more grounded, secure and confident version of you.

As a BACP-registered counsellor, I bring over ten years of training and experience, including a degree in Psychological Approaches and specialist training in Janina Fisher’s Complex Trauma (Level 1 & 2). I support clients who are working through negative childhood experiences, trauma, shame and long-standing relational patterns.

I also offer support to family members who grew up with — or who care for — someone on the autistic spectrum, helping them understand the emotional impact, identity challenges and relational dynamics that can arise.

My intention is to provide a compassionate, steady and attuned therapeutic space where meaningful insight and change can develop at your pace.
