Joanna Goodfellow
Supervisor
I’m a UKCP psychotherapist and BACP-accredited supervisor with 30 years of experience, aligned with Category C of the SCoPEd framework. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly understood and emotionally safe within the therapeutic relationship. Many of the challenges we face as adults are rooted in early attachment experiences, shaping how we relate to ourselves, others and the world around us.
My work focuses on helping you gently explore and heal these patterns. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, loss, trauma or relational difficulties, I will walk alongside you, offering steadiness, attunement and space for meaningful change. I have extensive training in trauma therapy and often integrate attachment-focused EMDR to support deeper processing and transformation.
As a clinical supervisor, I offer a reflective, supportive space where you can grow in confidence, skill and ethical awareness. I invite you to bring curiosity, questions and the full range of your clinical experience into supervision, so we can think together about your work and help you feel grounded and supported in your role.
My aim—whether in therapy or supervision—is to create a relational, attuned environment where insight, resilience and healing can develop at your pace.
