Supervisor

I’m a dedicated psychotherapeutic counsellor with extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, personal and relational challenges. I bring warmth, empathy, and a calm, steady presence to my work, helping you feel safe, understood, and supported from the very beginning. My journey into counselling grew from a deep belief in the power of human connection — and the transformative change that can happen when we feel truly heard.

As a psychodynamic therapist, I work with you to explore what may be happening beneath the surface, including patterns that can feel confusing, painful, or difficult to approach. I offer therapy as a space for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth, with gentle challenge where it may be helpful. You are always in control of what you bring to sessions. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to support you in developing insight, clarity, and deeper self-understanding at your own pace.

Throughout my career, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, and I tailor my approach to meet each person’s unique needs and circumstances. I understand that no two stories are the same, and I aim to create an environment grounded in compassion and respect — a place where you can reflect, explore, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Attachment-Based Therapy

My work is grounded in attachment theory, recognising that our early relationships shape how we connect with others, how we cope with loss and separation, and how we learn to regulate our emotions. Together, we can explore your relationship patterns and the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself, so that you can begin to feel more secure within yourself and in your relationships.

Earning Security

A key part of my approach is supporting you in moving towards earned secure attachment — particularly if security wasn’t available in early life, or if it was later disrupted by difficult experiences or life events. Therapy can help you make sense of your story, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop a steadier sense of self.

Alongside my clinical practice, I also mentor and guide other practitioners. Supporting those entering the profession is something I deeply value, and I offer encouragement, insight and reflection shaped by my own experience. This blend of counselling and mentorship reflects my commitment not only to my clients, but also to the wider counselling community.

Outside of my practice, I value creativity, reflection and balance. Whether through reading, personal growth practices, or spending time with loved ones, I embrace the restorative parts of life that keep me grounded. These personal commitments shape the authenticity I bring to my work, allowing me to connect with clients in a genuine and deeply human way.
