Mihaela R

I am a BACP-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, working within the WCTS Perinatal Team as well as in private practice. My approach is relational, person-centred and trauma-informed, and I support clients through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. Much of my work focuses on helping people deepen their relationship with themselves by exploring thoughts, feelings, behaviours, bodily sensations and family systems. I recognise how upbringing, culture and environment shape the way we see ourselves and experience the world, and I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs.

Alongside my private practice, I work in a perinatal charity setting, supporting women who are pregnant, have recently given birth, or who have experienced baby loss within the past 12 months. I offer a warm, compassionate and steady space for those navigating grief, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem or unresolved past experiences.

My intention is always to meet you where you are, with curiosity and respect, so you can develop greater clarity, emotional resilience and self-understanding. Clients often leave sessions feeling lighter, more grounded and more confident in navigating life and relationships.
