Let’s Connect

Jane Foers

As an Attachment Psychotherapist, my focus is on helping clients understand how their attachment patterns have shaped both past and present relationships. Together, we explore how early relational experiences may continue to influence emotional responses, self-beliefs and relational dynamics, and we work gently toward healing early wounds so you can build stronger, more secure connections in the present.

Alongside my general counselling work, I also support people who have experienced care at any stage of life and adult adoptees (16+). I offer a safe, steady and compassionate space to explore the complex emotional landscapes connected to adoption, fostering, kinship care and special guardianship. My approach is informed by both professional expertise and my lived experience as an adoptee and adoptive parent.

I have completed specialised adoption support counselling training and adoption trauma training, enabling me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, history and story. My intention is to create a therapeutic relationship that feels validating, empowering and deeply respectful of the journey you have travelled.
