Online
Hi, my name is Rosy, and I am a curious, creative and compassionate Integrative Counsellor offering counselling for adults and young people.
I am trained in Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Attachment-Based Psychotherapy, mindfulness and creative therapeutic approaches. In simple terms, this means I draw from a range of counselling models and techniques to offer therapy that is collaborative, flexible and tailored to your unique needs, experiences and hopes for change.
You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, low in confidence, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating in your life or relationships. Together, we can gently explore these patterns and begin to understand how they may have developed, how they continue to show up in the present, and what might help you move towards something different.
This work is not about blame. It is about understanding, compassion and creating space for new possibilities.
How I work
I offer a warm, collaborative and relational counselling space where the therapeutic relationship is central. I believe therapy can provide a secure base: a consistent, attuned and supportive space where you can feel safe enough to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences that may have previously felt difficult to access, express or put into words.
Over time, counselling can support you to better understand yourself, your emotions and your relationships. It can also help you develop a stronger, more compassionate sense of identity and a greater capacity to respond to life’s challenges in ways that feel more grounded and authentic.
In sessions, the work is led by you and gently supported by me. Some sessions may involve talking things through, while others may include creative exploration. You do not need any artistic talent — unless you have some and would like to bring it along, in which case it is very welcome.
We might explore past experiences, current challenges, relationship patterns, identity, loss, trauma, life transitions, or simply sit with what feels present in the moment. I will check in with you regularly so that the work remains collaborative, meaningful and paced in a way that feels manageable for you.
Areas I can support with
I work with adults and young people across a range of issues, including:
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Low self-esteem and self-worth
- Relationship difficulties
- Attachment patterns
- Loss, grief and bereavement
- Trauma and difficult past experiences
- Identity and self-understanding
- Life transitions and change
- Personal development and greater self-awareness
- Neurodiversity and masking
With both professional understanding and lived experience of neurodiversity, I aim to offer a neurodiversity-affirming counselling space where you do not need to mask, explain yourself unnecessarily, or fit into someone else’s idea of how you “should” think, feel or communicate. Your way of experiencing the world is welcomed, respected and understood.
Counselling for adults and young people
I offer therapy for both adults and young people, adapting the way I work to suit each person’s developmental stage, communication style and emotional needs. Whether you are seeking counselling for anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, low self-esteem, identity, neurodiversity or personal growth, I aim to provide a space where you can feel heard, supported and gently challenged when helpful.
Clinical supervision
Alongside my counselling work, I also offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists and practitioners working with adults and young people.
As a supervisor, I am trained in the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision and the CRAFTS creative supervision model. I support supervisees working in private practice, secondary schools, organisational settings and charity contexts.
My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective and creative, offering space to explore client work, ethical dilemmas, relational dynamics, practitioner wellbeing, safeguarding considerations and professional development.
Getting started
I offer a free initial appointment with no obligation. This gives us a chance to meet, talk about what you are looking for, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
There is nothing to lose by getting in touch — and taking that first step may be the beginning of something really helpful.
